About Us
BluHaven Piers has been in continuous operation since 1951, and the marina came under new ownership and management in the fall of 2006. The marina was previously known as Phil's Marina (1990-2006), and before that Mysty Cove Marina (1951-1990) or Captain Hewlitt's Misty Cove Marina.
While our location is pristine and beautiful, the years were not always kind to the maring, and after we took over in the fall of 2006, we began to make the place look like the jewel it deserves to be.
A-Dock has been improved, so that we now have upgraded electricity, water, and even Direc TV available at every slip. The electricity system for C-Dock is being upgraded in 2008. The grounds have been groomed and flowers planted.
Please come by and visit. If you remember the old marina, you will be amazed at what a little elbow grease and dedication can do.
Our goal is to provide St. Mary's County with a great place for public access to our wonderful Chesapeake Bay.
